griefy circle for Volunteers and fosters

TBD 2026

Euthanasia doesn’t only affect adopters.
It affects the volunteers who show up, who walk them, who train them, and who care for them at shelters.

I’ve decided to create a monthly gathering specifically for volunteers and fosters, a space to process the grief you carry.

In rescue and foster work, compartmentalization is common. There isn’t space to process every loss in real time.

But grief needs somewhere to go.
It requires intentional space.

If you volunteer or foster and want to be included, join the interest list and I’ll reach out with more info.

I will do my best to schedule something that works for most.

pet grief journaling cohort

monthly

Our pet grief journaling group is starting a new writing session this month.
Here’s how it will work:

  • Once a week, I’ll share a journaling prompt inside the community and send out a short email

  • You can respond privately in your own journal or directly in the post under Writing Prompts

  • You’ll have the entire week to sit with the prompt, no rush

  • I’ll offer guidance and reflections directly in the comments when I can

  • At the end of four weeks, we’ll gather to talk about what came up

  • Soul Den members are automatically enrolled

We also created a simple opt-in for the writing group for non-members. It’s low-pressure and welcoming. You’ll get session tips, writing prompts for processing pet loss, and optional feedback—no commitment. Sign-up is easy and designed for your comfort. Click the “Join Without Membership button to join immediately.

I’d love to see you there!

griefy circle

Join our July Griefy Circles.

Griefy Circles is a space to gather, connect, and share with others who understand the ache of losing a beloved animal companion.

There’s no pressure to talk, no need to have the “right words.” This space is for you, wherever you are in your grief. Come check in, say hello, or just be present. Shared experiences like these circles help in more ways than you can think of.

In this session, we’ll:

  • Open the floor for sharing stories, memories, or simply being present

  • Hold space for each other in a way that’s soft, nonjudgmental, and real

Come as you are, messy, quiet, emotional, or unsure. You belong here.

guilt, regret, and difficult decisions

Guilt after losing a pet is a common, heavy emotion that can take many forms—wishing you had done more, second-guessing difficult decisions, or blaming yourself for circumstances beyond your control.

In this workshop, we’ll talk about guilt, regret, and the hard choices pet parents face during and after pet loss. Certified Pet Loss Grief Specialist and End-of-Life Pet Doula, Koryn Greenspan of The Parted Paw will briefly discuss the role of an end-of-life pet doula.

Attendees will leave with a clearer understanding of guilt and regret surrounding pet loss, along with practical ways to navigate difficult decisions with greater self compassion and perspective.

find your power wellness

When grief emotions have nowhere to go, they can stay trapped in the body. This workshop is designed to help you begin releasing the heaviness of sadness, guilt, anger, anxiety, and tension so you can feel more grounded, present, and supported in your body.

Christine is a scholar in the fields of specialized education, behavioral analysis, neuroscience, health psychology, metaphysics, philosophy, and physics. She is also a certified integrative trauma coach, reiki master, sacred ceremony facilitator, shamanic practitioner, and 200 hour yoga instructor specializing in vinyasa, yin, and restorative yoga. Her journey into yoga began as part of her own healing process, which has since flourished into a deepening of her spirituality and personal development. She aims to bring the true meaning of yoga into every asana practice in a culturally aware way, and encourage students to meet the inner light of awareness that resides within us all. Christine enjoys the dynamic flow of vinyasa, yin’s meditative approach, and restorative yoga’s nurturing and healing nature.

Additionally, she enjoys Sound Healing to enhance the meditative experience, and flows through up to 10+ of her different instruments during a sound bath session. Christine’s goal is to create a safe, supportive environment for students to explore their soul, authenticity, and oneness with all that is.

Father’s Day tributes

Father’s Day can feel complicated after losing your soul pet.

Because when they died, it did not just feel like losing them. For many of us, it felt like losing a part of who we were.

The routines changed. The role changed. The one who needed us every day was suddenly no longer here in the same way.

But loss already took too much. It does not get to take away your title, your bond, or erase the love, care, protection, devotion, and fatherhood you gave every single day. No matter how much time passes, you are still their dad.

That’s why we’re creating a Father’s Day tribute around the theme, “Always a dad.”

Pet dads, grandpas, guardians, and those submitting on behalf of a dad are welcome to participate.

Join the community. This is a free offering.

Finding purpose after pet loss

Ever wondered if you’re still a pet parent after the loss of your pet?

In this workshop, Judith will guide us through why pet loss can shake our identity so deeply, why it can feel hard to know who we are without them, and how to begin finding purpose again while still honoring the bond that never went away.

This is for the pet parent who is trying to make sense of life after loss, who misses the routines, the title, the caregiving, and the version of themselves that existed with their beloved.

You are still their mom, dad, aunt, uncle. You are still connected and your life can still hold meaning after loss.

holding space for all grief

Join us for a free community-centered conversation with Lindsay from Everkin Pet Loss as she returns after the devastating loss of her baby Jack in January.

This will be an open, gentle discussion about grief without comparison. Whether you’re grieving a soul pet, sibling, child, parent, partner, friend, or another meaningful loss, you are welcome here.

There is no ranking grief. No proving your loss is “big enough.” No pressure to share before you’re ready.

Just a space to feel seen, heard, and less alone in whatever grief you’re carrying.

understanding your grief

Judith will be covering the science of grief, why our brains do what they do, and how to begin working through grief in a more grounded, practical way.

Judith brings an evidence-based, science-backed approach to grief that helps make sense of what can feel confusing, overwhelming, or hard to explain. This workshop is especially for the practical griever, the one who wants to understand what’s happening internally, make sense of their thoughts and reactions, and leave with more clarity around what they’re experiencing.
